Emad Nawasreh is the Founder and President of the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA). A dedicated community leader, he established JAHA to celebrate Jordanian heritage, strengthen cultural ties, and foster meaningful connections between Jordanians and Americans. Beyond his nonprofit work, Emad is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in cybersecurity, serving as a professor, engineering manager, and CEO of Cyberfirm, an information technology company. He is deeply committed to education, cultural preservation, and empowering the next generation through leadership and service. Guided by a passion for community building, Emad continues to create opportunities that highlight Jordan’s rich traditions while building bridges of friendship, understanding, and collaboration across diverse communities.

Mahmoud was born in Assalt, Jordan, and spent his early years in the close‑knit community of Azzarka. After earning his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1985, he served his country proudly in the Jordanian Air Force for twelve years, an experience that strengthened his discipline, leadership, and sense of duty. He later moved to the United States, completing a PhD in Systems Engineering at Oakland University.

Mahmoud built a successful 25‑year career at Stellantis before retiring in 2023 and launching his own consulting business. Alongside this work, he is an active real estate investor, managing multifamily and retail properties across Metro Detroit with a thoughtful, analytical approach.

Deeply committed to education and community, Mahmoud served as a lecturer from 1998 to 2021 and continues to contribute as an Advisory Board member for Oakland University’s ECE Department. He lives in Troy with his wife and their three adult children: Faris, Adam, and Iman.

Dr. Karam Alrousan, B.D.S., M.S., is a skilled prosthodontist and owner of A+ Dentistry in Canton, Michigan. Originally from Irbid, Jordan, she trained at the Jordan University of Science & Technology and the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. She specializes in implants, crowns, dentures, aesthetic dentistry, and full-mouth rehabilitation, and has also served as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at U of M, supporting the education of future dental professionals.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Alrousan is an active leader in the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA), contributing to event planning, outreach, and youth empowerment. She collaborates with local families, community partners, and organizations across the United States to strengthen cultural identity, expand engagement, and foster meaningful connections.

Jordanian American whose family immigrated to Michigan in the mid-1990s. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Oakland University and began his career in public accounting, focusing on construction and forensic accounting for six years. In 2010, he joined Nice Price, his family’s second-generation retail business in metro Detroit. Alongside business development, he is committed to community service and has served in several leadership roles, including Past Chair of the Hamtramck Downtown Development Authority, Past Chair of the Vernor & Springwells Business Improvement District, Vice Chair of the Southwest Detroit Business Association, and Appointed Board Member of the Warren Business District Improvement Authority. He is also a Co-Founder of the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA), where he applies his understanding of nonprofit structures, organizational policy, and community networks to support the Jordanian American community. Outside of work and community involvement, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their children.Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Alrousan is an active leader in the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA), contributing to event planning, outreach, and youth empowerment. She collaborates with local families, community partners, and organizations across the United States to strengthen cultural identity, expand engagement, and foster meaningful connections.

Ashraf Alawamleh, Originally from Al-Salt, Jordan, I have been a practicing attorney in Michigan for over 20 years. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and went on received my Juris Doctor from Michigan State University. I currently reside in Dearborn, MI with my wonderful family, and I’m a proud father of four.

Adam Mahd Was born and raised in Amman Jordan , finished his bachelor degree in accounting/ economics from university of Jordan in 1995 , moved to USA in 1996 , lived New Jersey for couple years before moving to Michigan in 1998 and has been living in Michigan ever since ,
Obtained his MBA from wayne state university in 2003
Then joined the financial industry to become financial advisor in 2004
Enjoys his job and it offers of ability to help small business owners , professionals and families navigating through accomplishing their financial goals and protect their most valuable assets .
Enjoys community activities and connecting with people , during free time loves to play volleyball and soccer .
Family and heritage are cornerstone component in his life , so in addition to spending part of the summer in beloved birth place with his larger family in Jordan , enjoys spending time and be part of his smaller family of his wife and three children .

Bekr Alrofo is a company owner and car dealer whose work is rooted in service, hard work, and community. The founder of NT Inc. and an active car dealer, Bekr brings a hands-on, business-minded approach to everything he does. Originally from Tafilah, Jordan, and now based in Livonia, Michigan, he finished school in Dearborn, where his connection to both Jordanian heritage and the local Arab American community grew stronger and helped shape his values as a leader. As a board member of JAHA, Bekr plays a key role with the help of other members to push forward with the growth of the association. To him, JAHA feels like family—a place where people look out for one another, celebrate their roots, and build something meaningful together. Omar Rawajih was born and raised in Madaba, Jordan. He moved to the United States in 2009 to pursue a degree in Business Management, and soon after graduating, he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship in the logistics industry, where he has been thriving ever since.
Deeply committed to community development, Omar was an early supporter of establishing the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA). Today, he proudly serves on JAHA’s Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the Social Services Committee, a role that allows him to give back, uplift families, and provide meaningful support within the community.
Outside of his professional and community work, Omar treasures time spent with his wife and their four wonderful children.

Rami Allababneh is an MBA graduate, entrepreneur, and corporate pilot devoted to leadership, integrity, and community service. Born and raised in Irbid, Jordan, Rami brings a deep appreciation for culture and connection to everything he does. As the owner of a multi-location travel agency, he has built a business that links people and destinations across continents while creating opportunities for growth and collaboration.‏To Issa, JAHA is more than an organization—it is a reminder of home, heritage, and community. His hope is to see JAHA thrive, unite people, and inspire collaboration for a stronger future together.

With a strong commitment to community development, Rami serves on the Board of Directors of the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA), where he leads initiatives that strengthen social support and outreach programs. His dedication reflects a deep belief in giving back, fostering inclusion, and empowering others to thrive.

Issa Abujudeh is the founder and owner of Shawarma Box and Lamarra Restaurant. Originally from Al Zarqa, Jordan, and now based in Farmington Hills, MI, He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design in 2010, which shaped his passion for building brands that create meaningful experiences and lasting community value.Since joining as a founding board member of JAHA in 2023, Issa has played an active role in shaping the association’s vision and success.

Dr. Abedulah Alkhateeb is a Fellow in Electrical, Electronic, and Hardware Engineering – Product Development and Technology at Stellantis/FCA US LLC. With over 25 years in the automotive industry, he has contributed to product development, systems engineering, and advanced technology integration. He earned his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering in 2004 and remains active in academia through teaching, research, and mentorship. Dr. Alkhateeb serves on committees with IEEE, ISO, AUTOSAR, and SAE, and on the board of the Jordanian American Heritage Association of Michigan. He holds numerous U.S. and international patents and lives in Troy, Michigan, with his wife and five children.

Dr. Shadi Azar Originally from Husn, Jordan. He was trained at the Jordan University of Science & Technology and the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. He is an associate professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan Medical School and specializes in Abdomen Imaging, practicing at Ann Arbor VA healthcare System.

Dr. Azar is an active leader in the Jordanian American Heritage Association (JAHA), contributing to strategic planning, and cultural integration.
